'Oliver' we bought at the FPS Sale (UK) from the Murthwaite Stud in October 2005, and he came over to France via Holland 2 weeks later. We made the long journey up to Holland to collect the little chap and brought him back to the Stud. 'Oliver' is a handsome black/brown 2yr old colt with black points and a white star. His sire Murthwaite Bracken is a quality dark bay stallion who has had a good showing career at county level, 'Oliver' has lots of presence like his sire and pleasing action. Oliver has settled in well and is a pleasure to have, such a great character with an expression that is always happy and cheeky. He is now running out with 'Tikka' and 'Teviot' in the stallion pastures and they all get on happily together. 'Oliver' is growing into a nice young stallion, and certainly has the potential of making a superb Fell Pony, we are leaving him to mature further this year, but look forward to hopefully having his first crop of foals in 2009.
