‘Tikka’ is a quality grey Fell Pony stallion. He is a calm and sensible pony with a kind nature and superb character. He has very good action, plenty of flat bone, and excellent breeding. His Sire Murthwaite Windrush is a superb young grey stallion, he was Youngstock Champion at the FPS Breed Show 2002 and the FPS Stallion & Colt Show 2003, also other wins at county level. His Dam Heltondale Lucky X is a good quality mare, herself enjoying wins in the show-ring over the years.
We plan to train ‘Tikka’ to harness and under saddle, starting next year when he is a 4 yr old, we think he has a big future ahead and is, and will be, an excellent young stallion to have at the stud.
Murthwaite Tikka will be standing at Stud to a few visiting mares for 2008. His first stock of foals were born last year, two healthy grey fillies. Please contact us to find out about stud fees or make an appointement to visit the Stud.
